Awesome for family!
The staff was helpful made it easy to travel with a 5 year old, who enjoyed everything. Food was good. Prices for one of the restaurant which served filipino dishes was decent with big servings. We also did one day tour which was Tour A,l. Our tour guide was amazing and so good travelling with kid, you both can experience without worrying.
I wished there was bikes for toddlers so my little one could come along. I'm guessing for safety issue. But it would have been good.

What was the highlight of Sunlight Ecotourism Island Resort
Paradise
We loved pretty much everything. It was a slice of paradise. The two beaches were beautiful and the pool was massive and deep and super clean. The restaurant was great with tasty and varied food. You can even buy cigars and premium spirits there! Staff were great and very warm. There were buggys to help you get around the island. Breakfast was awesome also.
WARNING: do not try to get there from El Nido in the same day unless you can catch a flight to Coron! We took the ferry and it was very stressful as we got in late and only just made our transfer as it was getting dark. If coming from El Nido by ferry it may be best to stay on Coron Town the night before or even at the Sunlight hotel in Coron for an easy transfer. A major minus was the lack of communication when arranging the transfer, several calls unanswered and multiple emails ignored! (But once you are there the staff are great). Note we were there late Feb but I heard in April and Dec there are large groups going to island and it can get busy (when we were there in Feb we felt like we had the island to ourselves).
